My Work

This page highlights examples of work completed during internships, academic courses, and personal projects. This includes a variety of fields such as video production, social media marketing, photography, blogging, radio production, and more.

Video Production Experience

For this project, I decided to act as though I had an episodic YouTube channel in which I travel around the city of Chicago and discover hidden businesses. Created for my advanced video production course at Purdue Northwest, with the help of my sister, this is "Chicago Hidden Gems."

When prepping on what song to choose for the creation of this music video, my mind turned to the album cover of Leif Vollebekk's track titled "Intro." It shows a bed, slightly made but not perfectly. I took this image, paired it with my family's apartment, and ran with the simplistic and slow feel of the song. This is the outcome of that idea.

For "A School Teacher", the atmosphere and design of the classroom was an important part of the story due to not being able to film students. Instead, we examined the relationship that the teacher has with her job and the importance of a fun and engaging atmosphere for fifth graders.

"Wake Up Call," by Aspire Productions was created for the 48 Hour Film Festival at the Music Box Theatre. The organizers of the festival give each participant a line of dialogue and an object that has to be used in the film; it then gives everyone two days to write, film, and edit. The films are all screened at the theatre soon after. I was lucky enough to be the production assistant for this short film.

Created in high school with a great friend of mine, I was the assistant director for "A Fine Line." We had such a fun time making this film. Due to unforeseen issues during production, we were unable to release the entire film. However, you can still view the last two scenes of the story in the video above.

Relevant Social Media Posts

I created these two posts for "The Roundtable Perspective" Instagram while I was the account director and project leader for my senior capstone course. I oversaw each class department, such as public relations, graphic design, advertising, and social media. The Roundtable Perspective is a student-produced show at Purdue Northwest that features scholarly conversations. The show airs on Lakeshore PBS and has won numerous awards over the years.

You can view the full Integrated Marketing Communication plan detailing all that was achieved during the course by clicking this link.

These are just a few of the Instagram posts I created during my internship at Flaming Heart Ministries in Atlanta, GA. They were created using Adobe Spark and posted to social media accounts through Hootsuite.
