Video Production Experience

Video Producer / Production Assistant Fall 2020-Spring 2021

  • Created two short-length documentary features and one music video for an advanced video production course at Purdue Northwest. Covered all aspects of production.

  • Experience as a Production Assistant for multiple short-length features, including “Wake Up Call,” which screened as part of the Music Box 48-hour film festival in Chicago. Provided creative contributions as assistant director on an ambitious short film.

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and other editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Spark, Audacity, and more.

  • Has an in-depth understanding and ability to contribute to all video production needs; including, but not limited to, lighting, audio, and staging.

Advertising Experience

The Roundtable Perspective: Practicum In Radio and Television Capstone Course - Project Leader and Account Director Fall 2019

  • Led broadcasting team of 14 students charged with increasing viewership for the production of The Roundtable Perspective, a Lakeshore PBS televised program produced by students and faculty. The show gives experts a platform for scholarly discussion on a variety of communication issues.

  • Worked collaboratively with the assistant account director to establish critical project milestones and tasks; met regularly with the production team to assign responsibilities and monitor ongoing status. Personally curated the Google AdWords campaign to drive results of YouTube viewership through collaboration with the advertising team and show producer.

  • Successfully partnered with St. Jude House, a shelter for families affected by domestic violence. Led team effort to organize a campus charity drive and help with a candlelight march/vigil event to stop domestic violence.

  • Created and led the final project presentation to the Dean of Students, client, and multiple faculty leaders. The original goal of increasing Roundtable Perspective viewership by 15% was significantly exceeded as viewership was increased by 29%. The successful project outcome was accomplished within the established $1,200 budget.

Flaming Heart Ministries, Atlanta, GA - Digital Marketing Intern Summer 2019

  • Independently built creative content for marketing based on guiding principles of non-profit, faith-based organization’s mission of healing and restoration of families and marriages.

  • Posted twice a day on Facebook and Instagram; created three blogs on the company website and utilized SEO to promote viewership

  • Became fluent in using Adobe Spark for the creation of social media posts

  • Organized large amounts of paperwork and entered transactions into web-based financial software

  • Researched data and gathered statistics for relevant publications

National Marketing Group (NMG), Highland IN - Digital Marketing and Operations Intern Summer 2018
